TDA Research has developed portable, lightweight medical oxygen generation devices. The devices use a physical adsorbent to separate air by selectively removing nitrogen at ambient temperature, delivering enriched oxygen (90+% vol.).
Air Separation Technologies
-
TDA’s expeditionary portable oxygen generator is an all-in-one medical device capable of patient oxygen delivery and bottle fill simultaneously. The EPOGS provides up to 20-LPM of continuous USP grade oxygen flow for up to three patients all at once. EPOGS also can refill two D-sized oxygen rated cylinders (2,,000 psi) while delivering oxygen to patients. The low power consumption (800W-1100W, 120VAC) allows for further forward care efforts as generators become limited. At 250lbs the EPOGS is built to MIL-STDs within the JECETS protocol making military deployment in austere conditions feasible.
-
The EPOGS is equipped with 8 ruggedized handles making transportation with 4-personnel of ease. A digital panel displays vital information on the system’s performance and status. The user can easily tailor the flow rate of each patient port to meet the needs of the individual patient. Bottle fill operation is performed with a quick connection and the push of a button. Filters are easily accessible and can be serviced within seconds. The oxygen concentrator module (adsorbent beds) is compact and designed for simple service procedures minimizing the time to get back in operation.

OxyGENTM-4C
4LPM - Portable
-
TDA’s portable oxygen concentrator can deliver 4-LPM of USP 93% O2 in the most austere conditions for any POC. The OxyGEN-4C is lightweight (<12lbs) and low powered (125W) while being battery operated, offering ease of mobility and transport as well as a battery life of 1-2 hours. The OxyGEN-4C also uses advanced technology to overcome short shelf-life degradation making prolonged care and military logistics feasible. To uphold to the austere conditions the OxyGEN-4C is built to MIL-STDs within the JECETS protocol. The cylindrical form factor (4.5” O.D) allows the replacement of D-sized oxygen bottles into existing medical equipment such as stretchers and wheelchairs.
-
The OxyGEN-4C is extremely user friendly with easy-to-use tactile buttons and user display to control the flow rate, flow mode, and monitor the status of the system such as the oxygen purity and warning alarms. An internal error system helps identify troubleshooting procedures for the user. The oxygen concentrator module (adsorbent bed) is compact and can be easily serviced.
