Working Dog
Field Decontamination Kit
Canines perform critical roles in our society, and hazardous materials are an ever-present threat to these important canines. Materials and methods to safely remove toxins at the point of exposure reduce the threat to the working dog and prevent the spread of contamination to handlers, vehicles, and infrastructure.
The Working Dog Field Decontamination Kit is a small, lightweight, non-toxic, non-reactive kit that includes all of the materials needed to remove contaminants from a dog in any environment.
Capabilities
• Cleanses canine fur, significantly reducing contaminant loading in the fur
• Reduces potential that canine skin will become exposed to toxic material
• Reduces potential that contaminated canine will spread toxic material to handler, vehicles, or other infrastructure

TDA Research and Mantel Technologies launch TDA'S Canine Decontamination Kit exclusively distributed by Mantel Technologies
The kit provides handlers and other professionals with the tools to remove unwanted materials, including highly toxic chemical warfare agents, from a canine's fur to prevent deleterious interactions and spread. The kit is highly effective under field conditions, at the point of contamination, without logistic support such as power, water or equipment. This new product supports safety and survivability of both working dogs and the humans they support.
The kit is offered in two variants dependent upon the use scenario. Each kit is comprised of a set of wipes proven to be effective, show no irritation and to be non-toxic to canines and humans. A training kit option is available to support team training and field readiness.

Disclaimers
This is not a medical device nor is it a pharmaceutical; it will not reverse the effects of toxic materials once a canine becomes poisoned.
This kit is non-reactive and does not neutralize or otherwise render materials non-toxic.
This kit is not designed to enable unrestricted operations in contaminated environments.
This kit is designed to remove otherwise lethal amounts of toxins so the working dog can be evacuated and then receive subsequent medical evaluation and treatment.
Protection of canine paws and eyes should be evaluated if toxic material exposure is possible.
